2024 Project Award Categories for Nomination<\/strong><\/h2>
\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>

General Contractor \u2013 <\/strong>Up to 3 Gold winners will be selected<\/h4>

Execute the construction of the project in its entirety – <\/span><\/span>must have at least one <\/span><\/span>superintendent or full-time construction manager on their payroll throughout the life cycle of the nominated project.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>

General Contractor <\/strong>\u2013 Tenant Improvement \u2013 1 to 2 Gold winners will be selected<\/h4>

Execute the construction of the project in its entirety – <\/span><\/span>must have at least one <\/span><\/span>superintendent or full-time construction manager on their payroll throughout the life cycle of the nominated project.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>

General Contractor <\/strong>\u2013 Civil Industrial Construction \u2013 1 to 2 Gold winners will be selected<\/h4>

Civil Industrial <\/span>Projects includ<\/span>e<\/span> Water Reservoirs, Railways, Roads, Bridges, Tunnels, Subdivisions, Transportation Systems, Water and Sewage Systems, Bulk Material Handling including Port Facilities, LNG, Oil Fields, Mines, Pulp Mills, Sawmills, Factories, Manufacturing Facilities, Electrical Power Transmission Systems, Electric Power Substations, Dams, Solar Farms, Wind Generation<\/span>, <\/span><\/span>Refineries, Chemical Plants & <\/span>Smelters<\/span><\/span> and Similar Projects<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>

Trade Contractor<\/strong> \u2013 Up to 3 Gold winners will be selected<\/h4>

The Trade Contractors category is for project work completed under a General Contractor or other contractor to execute a specialized scope of work of construction or a <\/span>portion<\/span> of a general work of construction.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Mechanical Contractor <\/strong>\u2013 Up to 3 Gold winners will be selected<\/h4>

Projects <\/span>including<\/span> plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sprinkler systems, fire protection, control systems, refrigeration, insulation, specialized process systems, medical gases, hydronics, site services and welding<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Electrical contractor<\/strong> \u2013 Up to 3 Gold winners will be selected<\/h4>

Projects <\/span>including<\/span> design, <\/span>installation<\/span> and maintenance of electrical systems<\/span>.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Manufacturer & Supplier <\/strong>\u2013 1 Gold winner will be selected<\/h4>

Manufacture, sale, or supply of materials, equipment, products, or services by M&S member companies<\/span>.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Special Awards<\/strong><\/h4>

The nominations will also be considered for the following Special Award categories:<\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • Heritage Award<\/h4>Awarded to members for preserving the aesthetic, historic, or cultural values of a building or structure of significance.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/li>

  • Environment & Sustainability Award<\/h4>Awarded to those nominees that through their own initiative and efforts demonstrate significant environmental benefit beyond the requirements of the contract.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/li>

  • Innovation Award<\/h4>Awarded to those employing unique and creative solutions to meet challenges <\/span>encountered<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
