Well, there\u2019s no need to \u2013 our judges are here to offer a few words of advice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">VRCA hosted an <a href=\"https:\/\/vrca.ca\/awards\">Awards of Excellence<\/a> information session on March 7 featuring awards chair Tony Everett and awards judge Bob Proctor. They covered a range of topics, from key dates to how best to organize the content of your submission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Everett took a few minutes after the session to record a short video offering up the judges\u2019 Top 5 tips for making your submissions. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-video fusion-youtube\" style=\"--awb-max-width:640px;--awb-max-height:360px;\"><div class=\"video-shortcode\"><div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\" style=\"padding-top:56.25%;\" ><iframe title=\"YouTube video player 1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/APTGd3xPqeg?wmode=transparent&autoplay=0&amp;rel=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:20px;width:100%;\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><h4>Their five things to remember included:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Format \u2013 Judges use a pre-set <a href=\"https:\/\/vrca.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018-Project-Evaluation-Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">evaluation form<\/a> to score the projects.
