It discusses news related to local government, learning opportunities, regulations, events and more.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights of the update include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A new program that empowers British Columbia\u2019s 1,000-odd building officials as community champions of high-performance buildings;<br \/>\n\u2022 Energy Step Code Council visits the BCIT High Performance Building Lab to learn\u2014or brush up on\u2014the basics of airtightness and heat-recovery ventilation; and<br \/>\n\u2022 Province sets new deadlines and requirements for energy efficiency in new construction.<\/p>\n<p>VRCA encourages our members to sign up for updates from the Energy Step Code Council to stay in the know about news and events.
