VRCA is excited to announce two new half-day workshops that will allow participants to gain LEED expertise and learn best practices.

The first new workshop is scheduled for April 18 and is called LEED: Indoor Air Quality Management & Erosion and Sediment Control. Attendees will learn the key components for both of these topics in this half-day workshop. General contractor supervisors, project managers and earthworks personnel will benefit most from this session.

The second half-day workshop is called LEED: Material Training and is scheduled for April 25. This course is geared towards trades, suppliers, and general contractor supervisors and will review material metrics, products, reports and more with regard to LEED.

Attendees are asked to bring their laptops with them, as both of these courses will be interactive. The instructors for these sessions are from Light House Sustainable Building Centre and Pinchin Ltd.

These courses are each certified for 3.75 Group A Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for residential builders. Additionally, the Architectural Institute of BC (AIBC) has qualified each of these seminars for 3.75 Core units.

VRCA is offering a 10 per cent discount to anyone registering for both courses. To take advantage of this deal, please choose the “Combo” option on the registration page and the discount will be automatically applied.
