BCCA shares BCIB’s responses regarding the Community Benefits Agreement

There are many questions about the Community Benefits Agreement that can’t be answered by reading the agreement itself. Some, but not all, of the questions were answered during a recent meeting between the B.C. Construction Association (BCCA) and BC Infrastructure Benefits (BCIB).

Based on member feedback at the Oct. 17 Division meeting, VRCA compiled a list of questions and sent them to BCCA to raise at its meeting with BCIB on Oct. 29.

Following this meeting, BCCA assembled and posted answers to the questions online Nov. 8. The compiled answers have neither been approved nor rejected by BCIB and the provincial government.

VRCA has posted the link to the Q&A in its November 2018 update of its CBA advocacy webpage.
