Vancouver, B.C. – August 13, 2026 – The projects setting the standard for Lower Mainland construction have been named! The Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) has revealed the 2026 Silver Award winners, recognizing the exceptional projects and teams advancing to the next stage of the 37th Annual Awards of Excellence.
Selected from 114 nominations submitted across 19 categories, the Silver Award winners showcase the skill, collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving that define the region’s construction industry. Together, this year’s nominated projects represent nearly $4.9 billion in construction value and reflect the extraordinary range of work being delivered by VRCA member companies.
“This year’s response was a powerful reflection of the talent, the incredible work, and the sheer magnitude of economic impact being delivered by our members across the region,” said Jeannine Martin, President of the VRCA. “At a time when construction teams are navigating increasing pressures around cost, timelines, and workforce, our Silver Award winners rose to the top of an exceptional field, and their achievements represent not only outstanding construction, but the collaboration, problem-solving, and people behind every successful project. We’re proud to celebrate their work and everything our members continue to build across the Lower Mainland.”
The Silver Award winners now advance as finalists for the prestigious Gold Awards, which will be revealed live at the 37th Annual VRCA Awards of Excellence Gala on October 16, 2026. More than 600 construction professionals will come together for one of the Lower Mainland industry’s biggest nights of the year – celebrating outstanding work, recognizing the people behind it, and finding out which Silver Award winners will take home Gold. Tickets for the Gala go on sale on August 18, 2026.
