Empowering Women to Build Futures in the Construction Industry
Vancouver, BC – February 27, 2025 – The Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA), in partnership with Canadian Construction Women (CCW), is proud to present the second annual LEAP: Women in Construction Conference. Scheduled for Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Pan Pacific Vancouver, this event coincides with International Women’s Day and aims to inspire and empower women within the construction sector.
Building upon the success of its inaugural event in 2024, LEAP continues to provide a platform for learning, networking, and fostering a sense of community among women in construction. The conference theme, “Building Futures,” reflects a commitment to elevating and uplifting women by encouraging them to take bold steps forward in their careers.

Conference Highlights:
Keynote Speaker: Michelle Cederberg, a high-performance coach and author of “The Success Energy Equation,” will share insights on optimizing performance in today’s demanding world.
Career Development Session: Jillian Climie of Thoughtful Co. will lead a session on authentic networking strategies to build meaningful, long-term connections.
Toolbox Sessions: Focused discussions on leadership under pressure, embracing self-compassion, amplifying strengths, and repairing trust, featuring experts like Dr. Kathleen Burke, Melanie Steele, Sara Schlipp-Reidel, and Polina Kouzmina.
