Back in July, VRCA President Fiona Fiona emailed our members asking help in identifying education priorities. Thanks to you, more than 150 replies were received in the needs assessment survey!
Everyone who completed the survey had an opportunity to enter a draw for a ticket to the 2019 Construction Leadership Forum at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Congratulations to the draw winner, Kym K!
The information collected in the survey is currently being analyzed by RDH Building Science. The outcome of the analysis is a report that will identify training needs that are currently unmet. Once VRCA receives this information Education Manager Andrea Ringrose will begin planning for the new classes.
“We expect to have new classes added to VRCA’s online calendar throughout the fall and winter” she said. “We will also be publishing regular updates in our Connector newsletter to share information on these new courses with our members.”
The survey was made possible by a generous grant from the Real Estate Foundation of BC. VRCA is thrilled that REFBC is invested in the future of construction education.
