Join Results Canada in Vancouver on Nov. 21 for a panel discussion that will explore strategies that companies and leaders can use to compete for the best people and become employers of choice for the long-term.
British Columbia is experiencing a significant labour shortage that will continue well into the 2020s. According to Business Development Bank of Canada, this is not just a B.C. issue; 40 per cent of small and medium-sized organizations are currently having trouble filling roles, and Canadian labour force growth will slow to nearly zero over the next decade. For business leaders, this is a top priority. Companies that want to thrive over the next decade must win the competition for talent.
Ruairi Spillane, founder of Outpost Recruitment, Rahim Dawood, vice-president of advisory services at AMTRA Solutions and Fiona Famulak, VRCA president, will discuss how to retain staff in a tight labour market. Tim O’Connor, CEO of Results, will kick off the presentation and will moderate the panel.
Panelists will share insights from their broad experience and industries and will explore strategies that companies and leaders can use to compete for the best people and keep them long-term.
The event will take place from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the Terminal City Club, 837 W Hastings St., Vancouver. Breakfast is included and will be available between 8 and 8:30 a.m.
