Young Construction Leaders (“YCL”) Annual General Meeting (“AGM”)
Join the YCL Network for their virtual Annual General Meeting at 3:30pm, Thursday, January 26, 2023, to elect the 2023/24 YCL Executive Committee and fill the remaining committee vacancies. Each nominee will have the opportunity to tell us why they’re the best for the job, so be sure to attend!
The YCL Executive Committee comprises five positions:
- Immediate Past Chair
- Chair
- Vice Chair
- Treasurer
- Secretary
The positions of 2023/24 Immediate Past Chair and Chair will be held by those already part of the YCL Executive Committee succession plan. For 2023/24 these positions will be held by:
- Jeff Block, Past Chair
- Scott Foran, Chair
We thank Kyle Davis, for his tremendous service and contribution to the VRCA as his 2022/23 YCL Past Chair term ends.
The positions of Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary are elected on an annual basis by the YCL Network. The Vice Chair position must be held by a representative of a VRCA member company in good standing, who is committed to participating in the YCL Executive Committee succession plan as Chair and Immediate Past Chair. The positions of Treasurer and Secretary are also held by representatives from VRCA member companies in good standing.
Remaining Committee positions to be elected include Division Representatives for General Contractors, Trade Contractors, Manufacturers & Suppliers, and Professional Services; as well as Event Coordinators.
