VRCA launches new “Resources” section on its website

The Vancouver Regional Construction Association has launched a new “Resources” section on its website.

As the Lower Mainland construction industry’s business hub, VRCA prides itself on providing the resources you need to be informed, productive, competitive and, most importantly, profitable over the long term. The new section features curated lists of the tools and websites members need to build their business and succeed at every level.

What topic areas are on the Resources page?

Government policy: Learn about the Community Benefits Agreement and access links to municipal, regional, provincial and federal government websites.

Taxation: Learn about B.C.’s Employer Health Tax.

Regulation: Access information about building codes, employment standards, labour code and health and safety regulations.

Standard documents and processes: Learn about standard documents, contracts and best practices.

Labour Market: Access labour market forecasts, salary surveys, employment statistics, careers in construction, and education.

Construction Innovation: Learn about B.C.’s green building requirements and the economic opportunities.

Bidding sites: VRCA member companies can access a variety of sites to search for bidding opportunities.

Other resources: Includes various items from business resources and market data to industry links.
